Why The Positioning House Exists

Most accomplished leaders do not struggle because they lack capability.

They struggle because capability alone does not determine how authority gets assigned, how opportunity expands, or how expertise gets valued.

That is the gap The Positioning House was built to address.

The Positioning House is a strategic advisory and intellectual property firm focused on how leaders strengthen the positioning of their expertise inside organizations and in the marketplace.

We work with senior leaders, founder-CEOs, and organizations at moments where stronger positioning can change what becomes possible.

Sometimes that means broader authority inside an organization.

Sometimes it means translating enterprise expertise into greater market opportunity.

Often it means both.

Our work sits at that intersection.

Not leadership development.

Not personal branding.

Not traditional executive coaching.

Positioning.

What Makes This Work Different

Most development work focuses on helping people perform at a higher level.

This work focuses on how expertise is interpreted, trusted, and positioned at higher levels.

That difference matters.

The Positioning House operates through proprietary systems, structured advisory, and intellectual property designed to strengthen how authority and opportunity are shaped.

The focus is not image management.

It is not confidence work.

It is not teaching executive polish.

It is helping leaders position expertise in ways that expand what becomes available.

The Work Behind the Firm

The Positioning House was founded by Alicia Perkins.

Alicia’s background spans recruiting, executive evaluation, and senior leadership decision environments, where she observed how advancement decisions are actually made and why equally capable leaders are often assessed very differently.

Across roles and organizations, she saw a consistent pattern: leaders doing executive-level work were being evaluated through execution-based lenses, not because of performance gaps, but because of how their work was interpreted.

That observation became the foundation of The Positioning House.

Today, Alicia’s work focuses on studying and correcting the signals that influence how authority, readiness, and strategic value are assessed at the executive level.
